You have over 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in IT or security domains, and have successfully led large-scale, cross-functional projects from inception to delivery. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle. You are adept at managing stakeholder expectations and can navigate complex organizational structures to drive project success. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess risks and implement effective mitigation strategies, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.

You possess a solid understanding of security protocols and best practices, which enables you to lead projects that enhance organizational security posture. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote collaboration with in-person engagement when necessary. Your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities makes you a valuable asset to any team.

Desirable

Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Asana is a plus, as is familiarity with Agile methodologies. A background in IT security or compliance will further enhance your candidacy, as will any relevant certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading security-related projects within Smartsheet's IT PMO, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with the Security team and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Your role will involve developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, to ensure successful project execution.

You will facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering collaboration among team members and ensuring that everyone is aligned with project goals. You will also be responsible for tracking project progress and performance, using metrics to assess success and identify areas for improvement.

As a key member of the IT team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies, sharing best practices and lessons learned with your colleagues.
