Google is seeking a Business Data Scientist to leverage analytics in solving product and business problems. You'll work with Python, R, and SQL, applying machine learning and statistical methods. This role requires a Master's degree and 3+ years of experience.
You hold a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, or Sciences, or possess equivalent practical experience. With at least 3 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, you are proficient in coding with Python, R, and SQL. Your expertise includes querying databases and conducting statistical analysis, and you may also have a relevant PhD degree. You have experience with Natural Language Processing Models (NLP) and are skilled in applying investigative, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or statistical methods to solve complex problems. You are adept at translating business needs into actionable data science solutions and can communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
In this role, you will contribute to problem resolutions and guide projects from ideation to implementation. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams within Google to ensure that the solutions you develop meet the evolving needs of our ads customers. Your responsibilities will include applying emerging trends in data science to tackle complex challenges, ensuring that your findings are communicated effectively across various teams. You will also be involved in providing consultative support for our large customers, helping them maximize the potential of our Ad and Publisher products. Your work will directly impact how we support customers and enhance their experience with our products.
