Carvana is seeking an Automotive Wheel Repair Technician to repair deep wheel damage and use state-of-the-art tools. This entry-level position requires at least 1 year of professional experience in wheel/rim repair.
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in wheel or rim repair — you understand the intricacies of repairing deep wheel damage and are familiar with the tools and techniques required for this specialized work. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of a fast-paced environment. You possess a valid driver’s license and are able to read, write, speak, and understand English, ensuring effective communication within the team and with customers.
While not required, any additional certifications related to automotive repair or ASE certifications would be a plus. You are eager to learn and grow within the company, taking advantage of training programs that Carvana offers to enhance your skills and career progression.
As an Automotive Wheel Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for repairing deep wheel damage using specialized wheel repair machines. You will also be tasked with painting and clear-coating wheels to restore them to their original condition. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the vehicles meet Carvana's high standards before they are delivered to customers. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to perform your tasks efficiently and effectively.
You will be expected to work on the 2nd shift, which may include mandatory overtime based on business needs. This flexibility is essential to meet customer demands and ensure timely vehicle deliveries. You will collaborate closely with other technicians and team members to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold Carvana's commitment to quality.
