Overview

Relativity is seeking a Senior NDE Inspector to contribute to the development and inspection of materials for their Terran R rocket. This role requires expertise in non-destructive evaluation techniques and offers a competitive salary range of $37.40—$48.40 per hour.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in non-destructive evaluation (NDE) techniques, particularly in the aerospace or manufacturing sectors. Your background includes working with various inspection methods and understanding the critical role they play in ensuring the safety and reliability of aerospace components. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify and resolve issues effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure that all materials meet stringent quality standards. Your ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively is essential, as you will be responsible for documenting inspection results and providing feedback to the team. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest NDE technologies and methodologies.

Desirable

Experience with advanced composite materials and additive manufacturing processes is a plus. Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. You may also have certifications in NDE methods such as ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), or magnetic particle testing (MT).

What you'll do

As a Senior NDE Inspector at Relativity, you will play a pivotal role in the Materials and NDE team, ensuring that all components of the Terran R rocket are inspected and evaluated to meet the highest quality standards. You will conduct inspections using various NDE techniques, documenting your findings and collaborating with engineers to address any issues that arise. Your expertise will help shape the inspection processes and contribute to the overall success of the rocket development program. You will also participate in the development of new inspection methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Your work will directly impact the safety and reliability of the rockets we build, making your role crucial to our mission.
