Overview

GrayMatter Robotics is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive enterprise sales in high-mix manufacturing. You'll be responsible for building and expanding relationships with clients, navigating complex deals, and achieving significant contract values. This role requires a strong ability to operate autonomously and thrive in ambiguous environments.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally with experience in technology or manufacturing sectors. You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable operating autonomously, demonstrating the ability to land and expand seven-figure enterprise relationships from the first conversation through long-term deployment. Your grit and presence allow you to navigate multi-layered buying committees effectively, orchestrating complex deals with annual contract values of $500,000+ ARR and $1.5M+ total contract value. You understand the importance of building belief in a future state that does not yet exist, and you are motivated by the challenge of selling innovative solutions.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate the value of AI-powered robotic solutions to diverse stakeholders. Your ability to build trust and rapport with clients is essential, as you will be prospecting your own accounts and showing up on customer sites to foster relationships. You are disciplined and focused, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets while contributing to the overall growth of GrayMatter Robotics.

Desirable

Experience in the robotics or automation industry is a plus, as is familiarity with high-mix manufacturing processes. A background in selling complex solutions to enterprise clients will set you apart. You are a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth and innovation within your accounts, and you are eager to contribute to the mission of empowering workers and manufacturers through automation.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at GrayMatter Robotics, you will be at the forefront of driving sales for our AI-powered robotic cells. Your primary responsibility will be to prospect and develop relationships with enterprise clients across various industries, including aerospace, specialty vehicles, maritime, and consumer goods. You will engage with potential customers, demonstrating the capabilities of our robotic solutions and how they can transform their manufacturing processes.

You will navigate complex sales cycles, working closely with multi-layered buying committees to ensure that all stakeholders understand the value of our offerings. Your role will involve orchestrating deals that require a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to present tailored solutions that address their specific challenges. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing.

In addition to driving new business, you will also focus on expanding existing accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services. Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve significant contract values and contribute to the overall growth of the company. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product development, to ensure that client feedback is incorporated into our offerings.
