Monzo is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple teams and drive the growth of new squads. You'll be responsible for managing Tech Leads, Senior Engineers, and Engineering Managers. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
You have significant experience in engineering management, ideally with a background in leading teams within a tech-focused environment. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you thrive in guiding teams towards achieving their goals. You understand the importance of building a strong team culture and are passionate about mentoring and developing talent within your organization. You have a track record of successfully managing multiple teams and projects, ensuring that all members are aligned with the company's mission and objectives. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Experience in the fintech sector or a strong understanding of banking products would be a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional team dynamics will help you excel in this role. You are also open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance team performance and product delivery.

Monzo offers a competitive salary range of £130,000 - £165,000, along with equity and benefits.
