With over 10 years of experience, you have a proven track record of architecting hybrid networks that span on-premises data centers and public cloud environments. Your expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP allows you to implement scalable and secure network solutions that meet the demands of a dynamic business landscape.

You possess deep knowledge of networking principles, including routing, firewall configurations, VPN setups, and DNS strategies. Your experience with Kubernetes networking, including service meshes and ingress controllers, enables you to integrate container-based networking seamlessly into existing infrastructures. You are also familiar with zero-trust networking principles, ensuring that security is a top priority in all your designs.

Your strong analytical skills allow you to troubleshoot complex networking issues effectively. You thrive in high-pressure situations and can serve as the highest-level escalation point for network performance and connectivity challenges. You are passionate about optimizing network costs and performance through advanced routing and traffic policies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and architecture of a hybrid global network that integrates on-premises and public cloud environments. You will define and enforce network segmentation, routing, firewall, VPN, and DNS strategies across various platforms, ensuring that all components work together seamlessly.

You will build and manage scalable, secure network infrastructures in AWS, Azure, and GCP, implementing hybrid connectivity models such as Direct Connect and ExpressRoute. Your focus will be on optimizing cloud network costs and performance, utilizing advanced routing and traffic policies to achieve these goals.

As part of your responsibilities, you will implement service meshes and ingress/egress policies for microservices communication within Kubernetes clusters. You will drive the adoption of zero-trust networking principles, collaborating closely with platform teams to ensure that networking and container orchestration are fully integrated.

You will serve as the highest-level escalation point for network performance, latency, and connectivity issues, owning the monitoring, logging, and alerting processes for global network health. Your leadership will be crucial in influencing global network policies and driving the strategic direction of the organization's networking efforts.
