You have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on building scalable systems that enhance user experiences. Your experience includes developing collaborative tools that facilitate connections among users, ensuring that they can manage their assets effectively. You understand the importance of access control and have worked on projects that require comprehensive data models and UX customization. You are comfortable working in a team environment and enjoy collaborating with others to create impactful solutions.
Experience with building marketplace tools or similar applications is a plus. Familiarity with user experience design principles will help you contribute to the development of host-facing tools that are intuitive and effective. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies that can enhance your work and the overall user experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining tools that support hosts in their daily operations. This includes building co-hosting flows, managing authorization processes, and creating group messaging functionalities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the tools you develop meet the needs of our diverse user base. Your contributions will directly impact how hosts interact with the platform and each other, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
You will also be involved in establishing a comprehensive access control foundation that allows multiple users to manage their listings and experiences seamlessly. This will require you to design and implement data models that support various collaborative products, ensuring that access control is consistent and user-friendly.
As part of the Hosting Service Success team, you will engage in regular discussions with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on your work. You will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance the tools you develop. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise, ensuring that our tools remain reliable and effective for our users.
Airbnb offers a competitive salary range of $191,000—$223,000 USD, along with potential bonuses and equity options.
