Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes building, automating, and developing large-scale distributed systems from the ground up. You are adept at managing cross-functional or cross-team projects and have experience with technologies such as virtualization and complex software infrastructure systems. Your expertise extends to compute, storage, data migration, capacity, load balancing, and software-defined networking. You excel at analyzing data to understand trends and drive process improvements, ensuring that problems are solved comprehensively.

As a Technical Program Manager focused on Infrastructure, you are comfortable leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across the company. You possess the ability to explain your team's analyses and recommendations to executives while also discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Your experience managing the end-to-end execution of complex programs spans multiple engineering teams through the software project lifecycle, ensuring timely build, test, and release processes.

Desirable

You have a proven track record of exercising technical judgment while working with large, cross-functional teams. Your ability to develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity is a key asset. You communicate schedules, priorities, and status updates to all levels within the company, fostering transparency and collaboration.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the execution of large-scale applications and storage solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. You will collaborate with engineering teams to tackle challenges related to massive scalability and storage, driving the development of entirely new platforms. Your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating project timelines, managing resources, and ensuring successful delivery of complex programs. You will also be tasked with identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.

You will work on improving processes and tools that enhance software engineering productivity, leveraging your technical expertise to make informed decisions. Your role will require you to communicate effectively with various teams, ensuring that everyone is on the same page regarding project goals and timelines. You will also analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, driving continuous enhancement of project execution.

What we offer

We offer a dynamic work environment where you can grow your skills and make a significant impact on our infrastructure projects. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of large-scale systems that serve millions of users worldwide. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
