Senior Automation Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in automation engineering, with experience in designing and implementing Automated Material Handling Systems. Your technical expertise allows you to work independently and solve complex problems with minimal direction. You are data-oriented and have built data-driven tools that provide valuable insights to complex challenges. You are familiar with industry technologies such as AMRs, Robotics, and ASRS, and you stay up to date on the latest advancements in the field. Your ability to translate complex technical information into clear documentation and presentations is a key strength. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.

Desirable

Experience with data analytics and creating productivity dashboards is a plus. Familiarity with optimizing Distribution Center layouts and material flows will enhance your contributions to the team. You are comfortable interfacing with external vendors and system integrators to design automated solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead efforts to design and implement automated order fulfillment solutions, working closely with functional stakeholders and vendors. You will analyze large sets of data to provide actionable insights that drive improvements in automation and material handling systems. Your responsibilities will include optimizing Distribution Center layouts and material flows, as well as supporting business case justifications for new technology and process enhancements. You will leverage GenAI to automate time-consuming tasks and improve internal processes. Collaboration with cross-functional team members will be essential to ensure that new system designs meet business requirements. You will also be responsible for staying informed about industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance the fulfillment network.
