Your technical expertise includes building web applications, particularly with Ruby on Rails and React, allowing you to guide your team in executing complex projects. You are experienced in running standard Agile processes, such as sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring your team operates efficiently and effectively. You are passionate about developing talent and helping your team members grow in their careers, providing mentorship and support as they tackle new challenges.
Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus, as it equips you with the skills to adapt quickly and make informed decisions under pressure. Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in improving workflows will further enhance your contributions to the team.
As the Engineering Manager for DocSend, you will lead a full-stack product engineering team of approximately 11 engineers. Your role will involve driving results for customers by owning the execution of your team's projects through standard Agile processes. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction for your team, helping them to achieve engineering excellence and deliver high-quality products. Collaboration with cross-functional partners will be key, as you work together to build the future of Dropbox and enhance the user experience for DocSend customers. You will also play a crucial role in fostering a culture of innovation, encouraging your team to explore new ideas and technologies that can drive business growth.
