Job Description

The goal of the Same Day organization is to build a world class last mile operation, exceeding the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible.

We are now looking to hire a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed candidate to support network optimization. The Topology Strategy Analyst will work within the Speed Planning team, helping us to create and extract meaning from large volumes of data to make the right business decisions on the coverage for each site within the EU network and support expansion or network optimization.

In this role, you will dive deep into data to drive improvements across quality, speed, and cost metrics, partnering with stakeholders from first- and middle-mile functions as well as local operational teams. You thrive in an environment of ambiguously defined problems, big challenges, and rapid change. You possess strong collaboration skills and can balance detailed execution with a strategic mindset.

You will work on a variety of analytics projects, designing and implementing solutions to improve operational consistency, reliability, and overall end-to-end delivery performance. Through a combination of data-driven insights and hands-on project execution, you will identify areas of opportunity and propose process changes to reduce defects, enhance customer experience, and optimize resource allocation.

In order to be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable interfacing with senior stakeholders as well as driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. Keeping an open mind, sense of humor, drive and ambition will help you remain innovative in our culture. This will be an exciting opportunity for you to possess a high level of autonomy, drive real operational improvements while managing a variety of job responsibilities.

This is a 12 month contract.


Key job responsibilities
- Use analytical tools and methods (e.g., Excel, SQL, visualization platforms) to generate clear insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Run simulations and scenario analyses to support leadership decisions on network configuration and expansion strategies.
- Define proxy information and heuristics for data that is incomplete or unavailable, constantly seeking to automate and streamline analysis.
- Simplify manual tasks by developing scripts or leveraging tools (e.g., Python, R) to increase efficiency and reduce error.
- Create dashboards or visualizations that make complex data accessible and actionable for operations teams and senior stakeholders.
- Gather and interpret live operational data, run pilot tests, and confirm or challenge existing hypotheses and models.- Prior experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Prior program or project management experience
- prior experience of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, or Engineering
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- Experience working in Fulfillment Centers
