IT Engineer/Senior IT Engineer

What will you do:

• Coordinate and facilitate new hire IT onboarding and offboarding including equipment provisioning and IT security orientation.
• Own the IT user account and hardware inventory lifecycle.
• Resolve IT issues reported by employees with a focus to educate and discover self-service opportunities
• Provide in-person IT support in our Chicago office for video conferencing & AV equipment, office technology, and WiFi.
• Utilize mobile device management tools (Jamf / Intune) to enforce security baselines on our fleet of corporate devices.
• Research, evaluate and make proposals on new technology and support methods.

 

The following experience is relevant to us:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years experience in systems administration or IT support.
• Primary expertise in macOS with solid proficiency in Windows.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
• Experience with administering a single-sign on service like Okta 
• Ability to troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, routers, switches in corporate offices.
• Communicating complex IT concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical users.

Compensation in Illinois:

• Depending on your skillset and experience, you can expect your base salary to be between $60,000 - $93,500 as well as a discretionary bonus and leading total rewards package including stock options.
