Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are comfortable engaging with mid-sized customers. Your experience includes managing complex sales cycles and negotiating with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs. You thrive in a remote work environment and are willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and close deals. You are passionate about the Internet of Things and understand how sensor data can transform operations for businesses.
Experience in selling technology solutions, particularly in IoT or related fields, is a plus. Familiarity with the industries that Samsara serves, such as transportation, construction, and agriculture, will help you connect with potential clients more effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with mid-sized customers, helping them understand the value of Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud. You will lead sales efforts, from initial outreach to closing deals, typically ranging from $20k to $100k. You will conduct product demonstrations, manage trials, and negotiate pricing with various stakeholders. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and that they receive the best possible service.
