Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in supply chain management, ideally with experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sectors. Your expertise allows you to balance lead time, cost, complexity, and manufacturability effectively. You thrive in environments where autonomy and ownership are encouraged, and you are passionate about solving complex problems that contribute to groundbreaking innovations.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate across teams and influence decisions that shape the future of rocket manufacturing. Your ability to think critically and strategically allows you to navigate challenges and drive projects forward, ensuring that the supply chain aligns with the overall goals of the organization.

You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of materials management, procurement processes, and supplier relationships. Your analytical skills help you assess risks and opportunities within the supply chain, allowing you to make informed decisions that enhance operational efficiency.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace industry or with high-tech manufacturing processes is a plus. Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies and supply chain optimization techniques will set you apart. A background in project management methodologies will also be beneficial as you lead initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll do

You will work closely with engineering teams to understand design intent and translate it into actionable supply chain strategies. Your role will involve negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

You will analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices that enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive initiatives that support the scaling of production capabilities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

As a Senior Technical Global Supply Manager, you will also play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring that they meet the company's requirements for quality, delivery, and cost. You will be involved in risk management, assessing potential disruptions in the supply chain and developing contingency plans to mitigate those risks.
