TripActions is seeking a Manager of Sales Development to lead a team focused on pipeline generation and talent development. You'll be responsible for hiring, training, and optimizing sales processes. This role requires 2+ years of experience managing a sales development team in a SaaS environment.
You have over 2 years of experience managing a sales development team in a SaaS company, demonstrating your ability to attract and develop exceptional talent. Your background includes 1-3 years in a closing quota-carrying role, preferably as an Account Executive, where you've consistently managed to core KPIs. You understand the nuances of sales development and are adept at coaching others in prospecting techniques, objection handling, and discovery conversations.
You possess strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and motivating a team of sales development representatives to exceed their goals. Your experience includes designing and delivering training workshops that enhance the skills of your team, ensuring they are well-equipped to drive business impact. You are a strategic thinker, continuously assessing and refining processes to optimize performance and achieve revenue targets.
Experience in a fast-paced environment and a proven track record of overachieving sales targets will set you apart. Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Strategy will enhance your ability to align initiatives and drive seamless execution.
As the Manager of Sales Development at TripActions, you will hire, onboard, and ramp a team of 6-8 sales development representatives. Your primary goal will be to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets through effective team management and development. You will design, deliver, and refine regular training and enablement workshops, focusing on core sales development skills such as prospecting techniques and objection handling.
You will drive a consistent operational cadence through weekly and monthly meetings, aligning and motivating your SDRs to exceed their goals. Collaborating cross-functionally with leaders across various departments, you will ensure alignment and seamless execution of SDR initiatives. Your role will also involve continuously assessing and optimizing SDR processes and strategies, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing measurable solutions.
Acting as a strategic partner to sales leadership, you will ensure robust talent density and accelerated development of your team members. Your insights will be crucial in shaping the sales development function and driving business impact.
At TripActions, we offer a competitive salary range of $128,000—$160,000 USD, which includes both base salary and target incentive compensation.
