Distributed Systems Engineer (L4) - Cloud Engineering

Who you are

You have a strong background in distributed systems engineering, with at least 5 years of experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in cloud technologies like AWS and your proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python enable you to tackle complex challenges effectively. You understand the intricacies of service-to-service communication and have hands-on experience with tools like Docker and Kubernetes, which are essential for managing containerized applications at scale.

You are familiar with open-source technologies and have a passion for leveraging them to innovate and improve system performance. Your experience with gRPC and Elasticsearch allows you to optimize interprocess communication and data retrieval processes, ensuring that services are both resilient and efficient. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you have a keen ability to analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. You are proactive in implementing best practices for cloud security and reliability, ensuring that Netflix's infrastructure remains robust and secure. Desirable
