Job Description

The Content & App Partner Engagement (CAPE) UK Marketing team seeks an experienced Senior Partner Marketing Manager to lead business/marketing relationships with strategic large or mid-size content partners. This role focuses on maximizing customer engagement and monetization for Appstore Content and Subscriptions across Amazon Devices, primarily in the UK while supporting other international markets including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, and India. *Note this is a Fixed Term Contract role (FTC) for 12 months

Our business is responsible for bringing the Content from our 3P Partners to Fire TV, and Fire Tablet devices, and driving customer engagement across our business. Our devices and services connect our customers to the videos, apps and games they love through our Appstore and related products. We also support our developers of these apps and games with the mobile commerce services that power unique experiences in their content.

The team is seeking a talented, self-directed and high energy partner growth marketing innovator to help drive our efforts internationally, including successful partner launches, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated an ability to build and own successful 360 marketing campaigns/initiatives with third parties to maximize performance, with experience in owned and operated channels.

The position will be based in the UK and will report to the UK Head of Marketing. The role will be held accountable to deliver on team and partner goals that specifically drive monetisation and sustained engagement. This role is a Fixed term contract role (FTC) for 12 months.

The successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, delivery focused, and will have an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will have a proven track record of owning the relationship for large and mid-sized partners and leading successful marketing campaigns across multiple touch points.


Key job responsibilities
- Managing strategic device or service partner relationships, with the aim to maximize performance/output with these partners. This work can span on-device or in-service promotions, cross-channel campaigns, and various strategic growth-driving initiatives such as sampling and promotional bundle campaigns

- Involved in partner-facing negotiations with Business Development (BD); and (ii) collaborate closely with tech on solutions to increase on-device share-of-voice

- Tracking channel performance

- Working with Business Development (BD) on app distribution agreement negotiations and contract compliance

- Leading partner Letter of Intent (LOI) negotiations for complex promotional/marketing initiatives beyond app distribution deals, e.g., promotions (e.g., buy X get Y deals), premium campaigns (e.g. large partner commitments for Tentpole Content Launces) and sampling;

- Planning and executing marketing campaigns/initiatives in owned and operated channels to maximize partner performance;

- Collaborating with tech to prioritize and deliver various solutions which requires a deep understanding of tech stack, device capabilities, app versions and feature requirements.
- Experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- Experience in marketing or marketing research
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience executing scaled marketing campaigns through email or social media
- Experience in marketing (non-internship)
