Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, with experience in providing technical direction and business guidance to sales teams. You are personable and cloud-savvy, with expertise in infrastructure and platforms like Azure and AWS. You excel at uncovering customer problems through effective discovery and can articulate compelling solutions that position Rubrik as a unique offering. You are a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with Account Executives and customers to drive innovative technical programs and pipeline generation.

You have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and are comfortable conducting customer demonstrations and overseeing day-to-day account-level activities. Your ability to evangelize and architect data resilience, observability, and remediation tools is key to your success in this role. You understand the importance of continuous professional development and are eager to leverage Rubrik's world-class sales enablement program to maximize your earning potential and advance your career.

Desirable

Experience in the cybersecurity domain is a plus, as is familiarity with data protection solutions. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of technical sales, ensuring that you meet the diverse needs of your clients. What you'll do

As a Sales Engineer at Rubrik, you will provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions. You will support pre-sales activities in the assigned market, working closely with the sales team to drive customer engagement and satisfaction. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, managing proof of concepts, and collaborating with Account Executives to identify and address customer needs.

You will be responsible for positioning Rubrik's Data Resilience, Observability, and Remediation tools to a targeted list of new and existing customers. This will require you to stay informed about industry trends and customer challenges, allowing you to tailor your approach and provide relevant solutions. You will also assist in the development of sales strategies and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

You will play a critical role in building relationships with clients and helping them navigate their journey towards enhanced data protection and resilience.
