Job Description

Team Puffin, as part of the CrX Infra org, are the owners of core solutions that comprise the Amazon Advertising DSP (Demand Side Platform). The team is seeking a talented and passionate front end engineer to join our creative advertising development team in our Edinburgh office to create innovative, visually stunning and effective creative advertising experiences.

You will work as part of an agile team, launching new and growing existing initiatives for Amazon's global video advertising business. Amazon DSP is a web-based order management system for programmatic ad campaigns. Advertisers create the creatives and associate these creatives with campaigns for delivery. Customers can update creatives one at a time or in bulk to scale across thousands of creatives.

As an engineer, you can expect to be involved in every aspect of the process - from idea generation, business analysis and technical design through to development and deployment across a variety of technologies - giving you a real sense of ownership.

Key job responsibilities
We believe strongly in experimentation, iterating quickly and getting feedback from our customers. As a member of this team, you'll will lead the efforts to help our advertisers increase their shopper reach by delivering on new expansion initiatives, accelerate innovation, and maximize advertiser return on investment.

This involves deep understanding of the advertising front-end architecture, technologies and techniques. If you are someone who seeks out new challenges and are excited about creating highly performant products alongside working with Product Managers and UX Designers, then you should definitely apply for this job.

A day in the life
You will work directly on the development of the software systems that we own. You will work directly with other developers and across the full stack to identify the best practices and implementations of solutions.

You will engage with product management and UX designers in discussing the correct approach to an implementation

You will be responsible for decision making affecting all of the teams systems and designs and liaising with other teams in our organization to build coherent and homogeneous solutions.

- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
