Huntress is seeking a Staff Cloud Security Engineer to define the long-term cloud security strategy for their B2B Cloud Security SaaS platform. You'll work with AWS, Azure, and PaaS environments to design scalable defenses. This role requires significant experience in cloud security.
You have a strong background in cloud security, with at least 5 years of experience in securing cloud infrastructures. You are adept at defining security strategies and have a proven track record of implementing scalable security solutions across various cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure. Your experience includes working with PaaS environments, and you understand the complexities involved in securing these systems. You are a strategic thinker who can influence engineering culture and drive security initiatives within a team. You thrive in a fully remote environment and are comfortable collaborating with a global team of experts.
Experience with cybersecurity products and a passion for protecting businesses of all sizes is a plus. Familiarity with ethical hacking principles and a proactive approach to identifying security vulnerabilities will set you apart. In this role, you will be responsible for evolving the cloud security strategy for Huntress's B2B Cloud Security SaaS platform. You will design and implement scalable defenses that protect our infrastructure and customer data. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you will influence best practices and ensure that security is integrated into the development lifecycle. You will tackle complex security challenges and work on initiatives that enhance our security posture. Your contributions will directly impact the security of over 4 million endpoints and 8 million identities worldwide. You will also engage in threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Huntress offers a competitive compensation range of $146,000 to $193,000 base salary, plus bonuses and equity.
