Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are comfortable engaging with mid-sized customers. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes, negotiating pricing, and working with multiple stakeholders to close deals. You thrive in a remote work environment and are willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and attend events. You are motivated by the opportunity to bring innovative IoT solutions to businesses and help them improve their operations.
You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey the value of Samsara's products to executives and CXOs. You are adept at building relationships and understand the importance of customer success in driving sales. Experience in the IoT or technology sales space is a plus, as is familiarity with sensor data and its applications in various industries. As a Mid Market Account Executive at Samsara, you will be responsible for driving sales to mid-sized customers across various industries, including agriculture, construction, and transportation. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Samsara's IoT solutions can enhance their operations. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts, trials, and negotiations with multiple stakeholders.
You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure that you have the necessary resources and information to effectively sell Samsara's offerings. Your role will involve conducting presentations and product demonstrations, as well as following up with leads generated through marketing efforts.
