Amazon is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to become a major contributor to our Intercompany Accounting team based in Luxembourg and to focus on financial controllership and compliance in support of the EMEA operations. The position manages complex accounting flows across multiple legal entities, involving collaboration with stakeholders in diverse locations.
The role requires excellent communication and organization skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify and communicate risks to senior leadership, as well as a passion to continuously enhance processes and reduce manual efforts through automation or optimization initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming the EMEA Intercompany accounting function through the strategic application of new technologies.
The successful Senior Financial Analyst will take ownership and drive positive change, including evaluating and streamlining existing processes, while collaborating cross-functionally.- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Experience with accounting and financial reporting, preferably gained within a Big Four audit firm and / or a multinational organization
- Excellent communication skills with fluent English
- Proficient Microsoft Excel user- Thorough knowledge of IFRS or other accounting frameworks
- Experience independently managing multiple projects with competing schedules
- Proactive, and results-driven, ability to correctly set priorities and meet challenging deadlines
- Passion to continuously enhance processes and reduce manual efforts through automation or optimization initiatives
