Cribl is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive the technical direction and architecture of Cribl Lake. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers. This role requires a strong background in software engineering and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
You have significant experience in software engineering, ideally with a focus on building scalable and maintainable systems. Your collaborative spirit drives you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that product roadmaps and objectives are met. You enjoy mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within your team. You are passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and are eager to take on product-related challenges. Your technical expertise allows you to contribute meaningfully to the design and implementation of features, ensuring they align with the overall vision of the product.
Experience with data engineering or data architecture is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud technologies and modern software development practices. You thrive in a remote-first environment and are comfortable working independently while also being an active member of a collaborative team.
In this role, you will take ownership of the technical direction and architecture of Cribl Lake, ensuring its scalability, performance, and maintainability. You will collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and other business functions to define and deliver on product roadmaps and objectives. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and confidence in their roles. You will also be involved in the design, implementation, and rollout of new features, working with your team to ensure that they meet the highest standards of quality. As an active member of the team, you will contribute to discussions about technical challenges and help drive innovative solutions that enhance the product's capabilities.
