Overview

Smartsheet is seeking a Sales Development Representative II to drive sales pipeline generation and support growth targets. You'll engage with potential customers and collaborate with sales teams. This role requires strong prospecting skills and a customer-focused approach.

Job Description

Who you are

You have experience in sales development, ideally with a focus on generating leads and building relationships with potential customers. You understand the importance of being the first touch point for prospects and setting a positive tone for the sales cycle. You are comfortable working with sales teams and have a knack for understanding customer needs and aligning them with solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to learn and grow within the sales field. You are proactive in your approach and enjoy utilizing various selling techniques to engage and qualify leads. You are adaptable and can work effectively in a remote setting, particularly if you are located in the Central to East Coast regions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with the Commercial and Enterprise sales teams to drive pipeline generation and support revenue goals. You will engage in proactive selling efforts, utilizing your skills to prospect into relevant accounts and qualify potential customers. Your responsibilities will include developing a deep understanding of our customers and their needs, as well as creating relationship maps and use case opportunities through direct account engagement. You will be instrumental in setting the stage for successful sales cycles and will work closely with various teams within Smartsheet to ensure alignment and collaboration. You will sharpen your prospecting and discovery skills while contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.
