Databricks is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to lead go-to-market campaigns for State and Local customers in Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. You'll drive value-based growth and expand the Databricks footprint while utilizing your sales expertise. This role requires experience in solution-based selling and relationship building.

Who you are

You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in leading go-to-market campaigns, particularly within State and Local government sectors. You understand the intricacies of selling innovation and change, and you excel at guiding deals forward to compress decision cycles. Your ability to communicate the value of complex products to customers and system integrators sets you apart in the field. You thrive on building relationships with key stakeholders, including CIOs, IT executives, and program managers, ensuring that you drive value-based growth within your accounts.

You possess a deep understanding of the Unified Data Analytics and AI space, which allows you to effectively articulate the benefits of Databricks' offerings. Your passion for understanding products in depth enables you to convey their value convincingly to potential clients. You are results-driven, consistently exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets, and you are adept at tracking customer details and forecasting in Salesforce.

Desirable

Experience in the technology sector, particularly with data analytics or AI solutions, is a plus. Familiarity with the local government landscape in DC, Maryland, and Virginia will enhance your ability to connect with clients and understand their unique needs. A background in solution-based selling and a strong network within the State and Local government sector will be advantageous.

What you'll do

In your role as an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in State and Local government. You will drive value-based growth within your accounts, expanding the Databricks footprint into new business units and use cases. Your expertise in solution-based selling will be crucial as you promote Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform powered by Apache Spark™ and Delta Lake.

You will prioritize opportunities and leverage appropriate resources to maximize your impact. Your ability to track customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, will be essential for effective forecasting and pipeline management. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that you are positioned as a trusted advisor.
