Assembly is hiring an Account Executive to drive high-velocity sales by qualifying leads, running demos, and closing deals. You'll work with service-based businesses and utilize Salesforce to manage your pipeline effectively.
You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in a high-velocity environment where you've successfully qualified leads and closed deals. You understand the importance of strong discovery and solutioning, especially when selling to diverse service-based businesses such as startups, accounting firms, and law firms. You thrive in collaborative settings and are eager to contribute to a small, dynamic sales team. Your ability to communicate ROI clearly and effectively is one of your key strengths, allowing you to sell value at meaningful price points. You are hardworking and understand that building a category-defining company requires both smart work and dedication.
Experience with sales tools and CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is a plus. Familiarity with service-based industries will help you navigate customer workflows and pain points more effectively. A passion for continuous learning and development will enable you to adapt as the product evolves and the sales process matures.
As an Account Executive at Assembly, you will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in our two-person sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to run a high-velocity sales motion from end-to-end, which includes qualifying leads, conducting 5+ demos per day, and closing deals. You will lead discovery sessions to understand customer workflows and pain points, mapping them to our product to propose clear solutions across various industries and use cases. You will own your sales pipeline, ensuring that follow-ups, next steps, and deal hygiene are meticulously managed to keep forecasts accurate and momentum high. You will become an expert in our product, developing deep product fluency that allows you to sharpen your demo and narrative as the product evolves. Collaboration with the product team and broader organization will be essential as you work to define our sales process, systems, and tooling as we scale.
