Motional is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead complex mechanical design and fabrication initiatives for next-generation vehicle prototypes. You'll work with AutoCAD and SolidWorks in Pittsburgh.
You have 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on vehicle systems and mechatronics. Your expertise includes advanced mechanical design and fabrication, allowing you to take ownership of significant vehicle build projects. You are proficient in creating detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings, ensuring that your designs are ready for manufacturing. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with various teams to align technical initiatives with business objectives. Your problem-solving skills enable you to improve internal processes and documentation effectively, contributing to the overall efficiency of the engineering team.
Experience with automated driving systems or similar technologies is a plus.
