Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and shrinking, showcasing your ability to handle complex repairs. You are skilled in roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your experience allows you to train and mentor other autobody technicians, fostering a collaborative environment. You are committed to delivering high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technology in automotive repair is a plus. Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols will enhance your effectiveness in this role. A valid driver’s license and the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential for success.
As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, ensuring that vehicles meet high-quality standards. You will be responsible for training other technicians, sharing your knowledge and skills to help them grow in their roles. Carvana provides a competitive wage ranging from $27.50 to $33.50 per hour, along with a $6,000 bonus for qualified candidates.
