Vapi is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to lead and optimize their People operations as the company scales. You'll work closely with leadership to enhance compliance and core programs. This role requires strong experience in HR operations and people management.
You have over 5 years of experience in HR operations, demonstrating a strong understanding of compliance and employee relations. Your background includes working closely with leadership teams to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring that people operations support organizational growth. You are adept at building relationships across various levels of the organization, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration. Your analytical skills allow you to audit and improve existing HR processes, ensuring they are efficient and effective. You are passionate about creating a positive employee experience and are committed to maintaining high standards in performance management and organizational culture.
Experience in a fast-growing tech environment is a plus, as is familiarity with HRIS systems and performance management tools. You are proactive in identifying gaps in processes and are skilled at implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Your ability to coach managers and support employee development initiatives will be key to your success in this role.
In your first 30 days, you will immerse yourself in Vapi’s business, culture, and values, establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will conduct a thorough audit of existing People operations and HRIS workflows, identifying areas for improvement. By the 60-day mark, you will take full ownership of HR operations, including onboarding and compliance, while leading active People programs such as performance management and employee relations. You will partner with leaders to address organizational needs, ensuring clarity in roles and performance expectations. By 90 days, you will independently manage performance review cycles and core People initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership.
