IT Network Engineer - Wireless

Who you are

You have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in wireless network engineering, with a strong focus on designing and deploying enterprise WLAN solutions. Your expertise in Aruba wireless infrastructure sets you apart, and you are well-versed in managing ClearPass for network access control. You understand the importance of high availability, performance, and security in office and campus environments, and you are committed to maintaining robust security standards.

Your background includes conducting predictive and active site surveys to optimize RF performance, coverage, and capacity. You are familiar with implementing security protocols such as WPA3 and RADIUS integrations, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with security and infrastructure teams to align wireless solutions with broader network strategies.

You are detail-oriented, maintaining precise network documentation and participating in incident response and on-call rotations. Your proactive approach to managing wireless hardware upgrades and providing high-level escalation support for complex connectivity issues makes you a valuable asset to any team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end Aruba management, designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise WLAN solutions using Aruba access points, controllers, and Aruba Central. You will configure and maintain ClearPass for comprehensive network access control, including guest access and policy enforcement. Your role will involve conducting RF optimization through predictive and active site surveys to ensure peak wireless performance.

You will implement and manage robust security standards, including WPA3 and RADIUS integrations, to protect the network. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will align wireless solutions with the broader network environment, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.

You will manage wireless hardware upgrades and provide high-level escalation support for complex connectivity issues, maintaining precise network documentation throughout. Your participation in incident response and on-call rotations will be crucial in maintaining network reliability and performance.
