Telligen is seeking a Patient Safety Program Specialist to oversee patient safety quality improvement initiatives across various clinical settings. This remote position is ideal for candidates located in several states, including Oregon.

Who you are

As a Patient Safety Program Specialist, you have a strong background in healthcare quality improvement and a passion for enhancing patient safety across clinical settings. You understand the complexities of hospital, nursing home, and outpatient environments and are adept at implementing initiatives that drive quality outcomes. Your experience includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, from clinical staff to executive leadership. You are detail-oriented and analytical, capable of assessing data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans. You thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to manage your time effectively.

Desirable

Experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is a plus, as is familiarity with quality improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. A background in patient safety or risk management will enhance your candidacy, as will any certifications related to healthcare quality or safety.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee and ensure the success of patient safety-related quality improvement initiatives across a designated region.
