Apple is seeking a Materials Program Manager to ensure operational success for the Procurement organization. You'll manage materials readiness and availability while collaborating with Contract Manufacturers and internal teams. This role requires a strong background in supply chain operations.
You have a strong background in supply chain operations and a passion for ensuring materials readiness and availability. With experience in managing complex procurement processes, you understand the importance of clear visibility and strategic planning in operational success. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness in material strategies. Your analytical skills enable you to develop models that project availability and support supply-demand goals, ensuring that you can meet customer commitments and revenue projections. You are detail-oriented and proactive, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes in the supply chain. You are committed to fostering strong partnerships with Contract Manufacturers and OEMs, understanding that these relationships are critical to the success of the products you help bring to life.
Experience in materials management or procurement within a technology or manufacturing environment is a plus. Familiarity with the Clear-to-Build (CTB) process and strategic allocation strategies will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. A background in data analysis and modeling can also be beneficial as you work to create effective supply chain solutions.
In this role, you will manage the Clear-to-Build (CTB) process, providing visibility into materials supply and highlighting projected coverage and constraints. Your insights will guide the Supply-Demand Managers in making commitments to customers and will serve as a key input for revenue projections presented to C-level executives. You will partner with Contract Manufacturers to develop models that incorporate specific supply chain and materials flow details, projecting availability to support our supply and demand goals. You will create allocation strategies for constrained materials, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently. Your role will involve continuous interaction with internal core teams, where you will communicate material strategies and operational plans. You will also be responsible for identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations. Your contributions will directly impact product success, making your role critical to the overall mission of Apple.
