OneOncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join their Hematology and Oncology team in Fernandina Beach, FL. You'll provide patient-centered care in a supportive environment, collaborating closely with experienced physicians. Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred.
You are an experienced Advanced Practice Provider, either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in Hematology/Oncology. You understand the importance of patient-centered care and are dedicated to providing evaluations and follow-ups in collaboration with physicians. Your background may include experience as a registered nurse or advanced practice provider in a similar specialty, which enhances your ability to guide patients through their treatment journey with professionalism and compassion.
You thrive in a team-oriented environment and value clinical excellence and strong patient relationships. Your ideal work setting is one that fosters collaboration and support, allowing you to focus on improving patient outcomes. You are committed to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that you stay updated with the latest practices in cancer care.
Experience in a private practice setting is a plus, as is familiarity with clinical trials and advanced cancer care methodologies. You may also have certifications such as NP-C or PA-C, which demonstrate your commitment to the field and your qualifications as a healthcare provider.
In this role, you will join the Hematology and Oncology team at SunState Medical Specialists, where you will play a crucial role in delivering advanced cancer care. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient evaluations, managing follow-up appointments, and collaborating closely with physicians to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. You will be instrumental in guiding patients through their treatment journeys, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support.
You will work in a full-time capacity, Monday through Friday, in a private practice setting that emphasizes outpatient care. Your role will require you to engage with patients compassionately, addressing their concerns and providing education about their treatment options. You will also participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall clinical excellence of the practice by sharing insights and best practices with your colleagues.
