Tucows is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to maintain and deploy network infrastructure for Ting Internet. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers. This remote position is open to applicants in Canada or the USA.
You have 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong background in designing, planning, and deploying network infrastructure. Your expertise in troubleshooting and debugging network issues allows you to maintain high-performance systems that meet customer requirements. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that network solutions are functional and effective. Your ability to guide and mentor junior network engineers demonstrates your leadership skills and commitment to team development. Staying current with emerging trends and technologies in network development is important to you, as you strive to implement best practices in your work.
Experience with cloud networking solutions and familiarity with network performance evaluation tools would be beneficial. A background in fiber internet technology is a plus, as it aligns with the mission of Ting Internet to deliver future-proof internet solutions.
