Airship • Remote - U.S.
Airship is hiring a Data Analyst to extract insights and build dashboards for executive stakeholders. You'll work with SQL and business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI. This position requires experience in data analysis and dashboard creation.
You are an experienced data analyst with a track record of extracting insights and actionable information from structured data. You have built dashboards for daily review, summarized results for executive stakeholders, and explained nuanced findings for non-technical audiences. You work with diverse teams who come to you with half-formed problems to refine their needs into answerable questions, answer those questions, and work with them until they understand the implications.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus. Familiarity with data visualization best practices and the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders is highly valued.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards that provide key insights into customer behavior and business performance. You will collaborate with various teams to understand their data needs and develop solutions that drive informed decision-making. Your analytical skills will be crucial in interpreting data trends and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
You will also engage in data quality assessments to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information being reported. This involves working closely with data engineers and other technical teams to streamline data collection processes and improve overall data integrity. As part of your responsibilities, you will conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden patterns and insights that can inform strategic initiatives.
