Basis AI is seeking a Product Designer to lead the design of user-agent interactions and create innovative UI for accountants. You'll work closely with product teams and utilize Figma to craft engaging user experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of user empathy and design principles.
You have a strong background in product design, ideally with experience in creating user interfaces that facilitate interaction between humans and AI agents. You understand the nuances of user experience and are passionate about designing systems that enhance productivity for accountants. Your ability to empathize with users allows you to create designs that are not only functional but also intuitive and engaging. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn about the accounting domain to inform your design decisions. You have experience using design tools like Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes and are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring your designs to life.
In this role, you will lead the design of user-agent interactions, focusing on building and redesigning interfaces that accountants will use. You will invent agent-ready UI primitives that can be assembled and edited in real time, ensuring that the design is adaptable and user-friendly. Partnering closely with product teams, you will work to seamlessly integrate agents into both new and existing products. You will collaborate with the founders to envision the future of Basis and translate that vision into actionable design goals. A significant part of your role will involve immersing yourself in the accounting workflow, allowing you to gain firsthand experience that will inform your design choices. You will be responsible for iterating on designs based on user feedback and testing, ensuring that the final product meets the needs of its users.
