Overview

Databricks is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive growth in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) vertical. You'll focus on acquiring new accounts and expanding existing ones while building strategic relationships. This role requires 5+ years of experience in complex software sales.

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience selling multi-million dollar complex software deals, particularly within the Financial Services Industry (FSI) vertical. Your ability to compress decision cycles and guide deals forward is a key strength. You possess a deep understanding of the product and are passionate about communicating its value to customers and partners. You thrive on prospecting for new opportunities and have a proven track record of closing new accounts while growing business in existing accounts. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to establish essential C-Level relationships, including those in Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Data Science roles, who will advocate for your industry.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, your mission will be to acquire and grow focus customers. You will create a focused and targeted logo acquisition strategy, securing new logos with strategic accounts in the FSI vertical. You will expand Databricks use cases in existing and newly won accounts to maximize impact for customers. Your role will involve planning, documenting, and driving the growth of Databricks usage for your customers. You will develop a deep understanding of the customer's business and provide leadership to the customer, important staff, and technical teams. Identifying all important data use cases and buying centers in an opportunity will be crucial to increasing the impact of Databricks in an organization. You will orchestrate and utilize Databricks teams and ecosystem partners to maximize your impact on your sales motions.
