Overview

Rubrik is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to provide technical direction and business guidance to the sales team in Western Canada. You'll be responsible for driving innovative technical programs and customer demonstrations. This role requires expertise in technical solutions and sales support.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, with a focus on providing technical leadership and direction to customers and internal teams. Your experience includes developing integrated technology solutions that support pre-sales activities in the assigned market. You are adept at analyzing customer needs and translating them into effective solutions that drive sales success. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively evangelize and position products to both new and existing strategic customer accounts.

You are a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with account executives to exceed sales quotas. Your technical expertise includes a deep understanding of distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings, particularly in the SAN product space. You are passionate about protecting data and helping organizations achieve resilience against cyber threats.

Desirable

Experience with Rubrik’s products or similar technologies is a plus. Familiarity with the sales process in the technology sector will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous professional development will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Rubrik, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales organization by providing technical direction and business guidance. You will assist in the analysis, design, and development of fully integrated technology solutions tailored to meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will include conducting customer demonstrations and proof of concepts, showcasing the value of Rubrik’s products to potential clients.

You will collaborate with the regional sales team in Western Canada, driving innovative technical programs and pipeline generation. Your role will involve overseeing day-to-day account-level activities, ensuring that customer requirements are met and that sales goals are achieved. You will act as a technical expert, providing insights and recommendations that help shape customer strategies and drive successful outcomes.
