Who you are

You have over 7 years of experience in the annuity or life insurance industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of product development and regulatory affairs. Your expertise allows you to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance with evolving standards. You are skilled in drafting and negotiating contract provisions for various financial products, including fixed, indexed, and registered annuities, as well as 401K and pension risk transfer products. Your ability to analyze regulatory trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams makes you a valuable asset in driving product innovation.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Legal, Product, Actuarial, and Regulatory teams to deliver compliant and innovative products. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively manage SERFF submissions and engage in dialogue with state regulators to secure timely product approvals. You are detail-oriented and committed to aligning contract and advertising materials with regulatory expectations, ensuring that all aspects of product development meet compliance standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the product development process for annuity products, ensuring that all offerings comply with regulatory requirements. You will draft and negotiate contract provisions, working closely with various stakeholders to align on product specifications and marketing strategies. Your analytical skills will be crucial in interpreting evolving state and IIPRC standards, guiding product design to meet compliance needs.

You will manage SERFF submissions, coordinating with state regulators to facilitate timely product approvals. Your expertise will position you as a subject matter expert on regulatory trends, allowing you to provide valuable insights to cross-functional teams. You will collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to ensure that all contract and advertising materials meet regulatory expectations, enhancing the marketability of our products.

Your role will also involve driving product innovation by identifying opportunities for new offerings and enhancements to existing products. You will work closely with the Legal team to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring that our products not only meet compliance standards but also resonate with our target audience. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping the future of our annuity and retirement solutions.
