Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with enterprise software architecture, full-stack development, Google Cloud Platform, software architecture, software development, software engineering.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience with software development in training, developing or applying machine learning models.
- 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience in one or more of the following coding languages: Typescript, Go, Kotlin, Java.
- Experience with VSCode or IntelliJ.
- Experience with developer tools.

In this role, you will work with Google's researchers, engineers, and product managers from Google Cloud Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Google Research, developing testing machine learning solutions that will contribute to Google's product excellence. You will develop features that utilize the next generation Large Language Models (LLMs) to provide development flow to the developers.You will be producing quality software, and keeping the developer in flow in their integrated development environment using AI solutions.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Work with Product Manager and User Experience (UX) teams to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Write and test product or system development code. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
