SoFi is seeking a Senior Finance Systems Analyst to architect and automate financial reporting systems. You'll leverage your expertise in IBM Planning Analytics and Tableau to drive smarter decision-making. This role requires strong technical skills and collaboration with business stakeholders.
You have a strong background in business intelligence and finance systems, with at least 5 years of experience in architecting and automating reporting systems. Your technical expertise in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) allows you to develop robust models and hierarchies that enhance reporting capabilities. You are passionate about building automated data solutions and have a proven track record of collaborating with business stakeholders to drive visibility and informed decision-making. You thrive in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the financial landscape.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus, as is familiarity with ETL processes and database structures. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have excellent communication skills that enable you to influence and partner effectively with senior leadership.
In this role, you will design, own, and execute end-to-end data workflows, ensuring that financial and KPI reporting systems are efficient and scalable. You will act as the technical expert for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), developing and documenting models that replace manual processes. Your responsibilities will include defining ETL processes and creating self-service dashboards in Tableau that empower stakeholders to access insights easily. You will collaborate closely with senior management to understand their reporting needs and ensure that the systems you build align with the company's strategic goals.
You will also be responsible for optimizing existing processes and identifying opportunities for automation that enhance the overall efficiency of the finance team. Your ability to partner with various departments will be crucial in driving the adoption of new reporting tools and methodologies. You will participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on the systems you develop, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
