Job Description

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking an experienced licensing professional to join the Consumer Products Licensing Team. This individual will be an integral member of a growing department that works across Amazon MGM Studios diverse portfolio of content (Genre, Unscripted, Young Adult, Anime, Comedy and Film) to ideate, develop and deliver best-in-class licensed merchandise for our customers.

Key job responsibilities
The Senior Executive, Consumer Products will be tasked with building and managing consumer products licensing programs for Amazon MGM Studios’ franchise IP. He/She will take an active role in developing CP roadmaps and inventing processes to help scale the business. He/She will lead initiatives from conception to execution working closely with senior leaders across the Studio.

- Work in conjunction with the Head of Consumer Products Licensing to develop annual business plans and organize workstreams to deliver on revenue goals for the team.
- Operate as a thought leader and subject matter expert to internal teams; provide insightful recommendations and decision making that balances data with excellent judgment.
- Partner with team leaders to define goals, processes and mechanisms that will accelerate growth and expansion of the Consumer Products business at Amazon MGM Studios.
- Lead on assigned franchises and manage end-to-end development and execution of comprehensive, multi-category licensing programs
- Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Proactively engage with cross-functional partners to understand their priorities, challenges, and areas of overlap, Leveraging strong interpersonal skills to build trust, align on shared objectives, and secure the support and resources needed for successful execution.
- Navigate complex, ambiguous situations and conflict with diplomacy to reach mutually beneficial solutions.
- Develop clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communications to effectively convey strategy, progress, and recommendations to senior leadership. - Bachelor's Degree: Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g.,MBA, JD) are preferred.
- 10+ years of experience working in Consumer Products licensing.
- Track record of successfully partnering with cross-functional teams to align on goals, share information, and drive collective success.
- Thrives in a data-driven environment, leveraging quantitative and qualitative information to support decision-making.- Adaptable; open to new ways of thinking and non-traditional approaches to licensing
- Comfortable operating in an environment where the path forward is not always clear. Uses strong problem-solving skills and business acumen to navigate uncertainty, make sound judgments, and lead teams to successful outcomes.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
