Block is seeking an Implementation & Onboarding Project Manager to manage the final stages of the sales funnel and drive onboarding for US merchants. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships.
You have a strong background in project management, ideally with experience in onboarding or implementation processes. You understand the importance of guiding clients through complex journeys and ensuring they are set up for success. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and foster collaboration across teams. You are detail-oriented and can anticipate potential obstacles, developing strategies to overcome them. You thrive in customer-facing roles and enjoy building relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met. You are adaptable and can navigate both remote and onsite interactions with ease.
In this role, you will manage the final stages of the sales funnel, working closely with US merchants to drive deals through to activation. You will be responsible for accelerating the onboarding process and ensuring that sellers are optimally scoped, educated, and trained to leverage Square’s platform. You will cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams to align on the seller journey and remove barriers to success. You will also be instrumental in documenting and tracking feature requests to inform future product roadmaps. Your role will involve a mix of remote and onsite interactions, with approximately 10% travel required. You will drive world-class onboarding experiences, ensuring accountability to go-live timelines and accelerating deal velocity wherever possible.
