Samsara is seeking a Director, Specialist - Enterprise Select to expand their enterprise field business. You'll implement effective coaching and development of Field Sales teams. This role requires a history of over-achievement in sales and the ability to engage with all levels of an enterprise organization.
You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, demonstrating a history of over-achievement such as Presidents Club recognition. Your experience includes engaging with various levels within enterprise organizations, showcasing your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. You are passionate about introducing transformative technologies to the market and have a strong understanding of the industries that Samsara serves, including agriculture, construction, and transportation. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable leading teams to success through effective coaching and development strategies.
Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with digital transformation initiatives. You possess strong analytical skills that allow you to assess market trends and customer needs effectively. A background in technology sales, particularly in software or hardware solutions, will help you excel in this role. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of enterprise sales cycles, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets.
In this role, you will lead the enterprise sales strategy for Samsara, focusing on expanding the field business. You will implement effective coaching and development programs for Field Sales teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Your responsibilities will include setting sales targets, developing sales plans, and monitoring performance metrics to drive results. You will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market demands.
You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key enterprise clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that leverage Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. Your role will involve conducting presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of Samsara's products, as well as negotiating contracts and closing deals.
As a leader, you will foster a culture of high performance and accountability within your team, encouraging collaboration and innovation. You will regularly assess team performance and provide feedback to help team members grow in their roles. Additionally, you will stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to ensure that Samsara remains a leader in the market.
