Databricks is seeking a Lead Security Architect to design and implement secure architectures for corporate assets. You'll focus on IT security areas such as Identity and Access Management and Zero Trust architecture. This role requires deep expertise in security principles and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
You are a highly skilled Lead Security Architect with a strong background in IT security principles and practices. With over 5 years of experience in designing secure architectures, you have a comprehensive understanding of the entire infrastructure stack and IAM systems. You are adept at developing proactive security strategies that align with business goals and protect against evolving cyber threats. Your expertise in Identity and Access Management and Zero Trust architecture allows you to create robust security solutions that safeguard sensitive data and critical business applications.
You possess deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and you are familiar with endpoint security measures. Your experience includes working with SaaS solutions and integrating security practices into development processes. You are a strategic thinker who can balance technical requirements with business objectives, ensuring that security measures enhance operational efficiency without compromising on safety.
Experience with secure AI development and familiarity with collaboration tools like Google Workspace is a plus. You have a proactive approach to learning about new security technologies and trends, and you are committed to continuous improvement in your field.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a secure and scalable architecture to protect Databricks' corporate assets. You will focus on key areas of IT security, including Identity and Access Management, Zero Trust architecture, and endpoint security. Your role will involve securing critical business applications and sensitive data, ensuring that the company's systems are resilient against cyber threats.
You will play a critical role in shaping the security strategy for modern platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, network infrastructure, storage, and SaaS solutions. You will help establish a strong least privilege model and provide specialized IAM expertise to support the secure integration of SaaS platforms. Additionally, you will contribute to building the internal strategy for secure AI development, ensuring that security practices are integrated into all aspects of the development lifecycle.
Collaboration will be key in this position, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to align security measures with business objectives. You will also be responsible for educating team members about security best practices and fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.
