Senior Technical Product Manager (Security)

You have 5+ years of experience in product management with a strong technical background, particularly in security. You are adept at identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in firmware and have a proven track record of collaborating with engineering teams and third-party vendors to deliver effective solutions. Your expertise in secure design practices for both hardware and software development sets you apart, and you stay updated on the latest security trends and threat intelligence. You possess excellent project management skills, ensuring that milestones are met and that cross-functional teams are aligned throughout the project lifecycle. You are a proactive communicator, capable of tracking and reporting project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders. You are passionate about enhancing security processes and improving product lines.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead initiatives to ensure the security of NETGEAR's home wireless networking products. You will identify, investigate, and drive the mitigation of security vulnerabilities in existing firmware, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve security issues. You will coordinate the design and implementation of new security software features, ensuring they align with current threat models and product architecture. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the latest security trends and assessing their relevance to NETGEAR products. You will provide expert guidance on secure design practices and manage end-to-end project execution, from planning through delivery. You will track and report project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders, contributing to process improvements that enhance security across product lines.
