Who you are

You have a strong background in quality assurance, with expertise in creating and developing test cases for digital products. Your experience includes performing manual and exploratory testing to identify defects and ensure comprehensive test coverage. You are skilled in documenting defects and collaborating with development teams to advocate for continuous product improvement. You have a keen eye for detail, allowing you to validate and scrutinize requirements effectively, identifying potential gaps and edge cases in proposed solutions.

Your ability to work with Content Management Systems (CMS) is a significant asset, and you are proficient in creating supporting test documentation such as Test Plans and Test Summary Reports. You contribute to the planning and prioritization of testing tasks within projects, demonstrating your capability to estimate testing tasks accurately. You are adept at assessing and highlighting risks to mitigate issues, taking ownership of QA processes and best practices.

You possess expert knowledge in understanding digital products, their features, and functionality. Your experience includes developing and executing test scenarios for both web and mobile applications, along with a solid understanding of requirements analysis. You are familiar with industry-standard testing processes and best practices, ideally holding an ISTQB foundation certification. Your competence extends to software testing techniques, testing tools, and incident/defect tracking systems, ensuring you are well-equipped to handle various testing challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you will create and develop test cases tailored to the specific needs of projects, ensuring that all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested. You will perform manual or exploratory testing as required, identifying defects and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Your collaboration with development teams will be crucial as you document defects and advocate for continuous product improvement.

You will validate and scrutinize requirements to identify potential gaps and edge cases, ensuring that proposed solutions are testable. Your experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) will be beneficial as you create supporting test documentation, including Test Plans and Test Summary Reports, with support from your colleagues.

You will contribute to the planning and prioritization of testing on projects, estimating testing tasks accurately to ensure timely delivery. Your proficiency in assessing and highlighting risks will help mitigate issues before they arise, allowing for smoother project execution. You will take ownership of QA processes and best practices, ensuring that the team adheres to industry standards.
