Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or in a customer-facing role. Your expertise includes cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data. You are skilled in engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders, ensuring that you can effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Your experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps sets you apart. You understand enterprise technology buying and evaluation processes, and you have a proven track record in building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems. You are adept at learning and working with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.

You possess the ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate solutions that consist of multiple products. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to drive and influence audiences, identifying expansion engagements within accounts. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to optimizing Google Cloud effectiveness for customers.

Desirable

Experience in managing holistic enterprise architecture relationships with customers is a plus. You are comfortable traveling to customer sites, conferences, and related events, with an average travel requirement of 50%. Your ability to collaborate with specialists, product management, and technical teams enhances your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the enterprise architecture relationship with customers, ensuring that they receive the best practices necessary to implement complete solutions. You will collaborate with various teams, including specialists and product management, to optimize the effectiveness of Google Cloud for customers. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers to understand their needs and providing tailored solutions that leverage Google Cloud technologies.

You will be responsible for presenting cloud solutions to technical stakeholders and executive leaders, articulating the value and benefits of Google Cloud offerings. Your role will involve driving customer engagement and identifying opportunities for expansion within existing accounts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with customer requirements and industry best practices.

As a Principal Architect IV, you will also stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the cloud computing space, ensuring that you can provide informed recommendations to customers. Your ability to navigate complex technical discussions will be crucial in building trust and rapport with clients.
