Overview

Samsara is hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology or IoT sector, and are comfortable engaging with mid-sized customers. You thrive in a role that requires building relationships with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs, and you have experience managing complex sales cycles. You are results-driven and enjoy the challenge of meeting sales targets while providing exceptional service to your clients. You are adaptable and can navigate the unique challenges of selling IoT solutions to diverse industries such as agriculture, construction, and transportation.

Desirable

Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space is a plus, as is familiarity with sensor data and its applications in improving operational efficiency. You have a strong understanding of the sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals, and you are skilled at negotiating pricing and terms that benefit both the customer and your company. You are a team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues across departments to ensure customer success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Samsara's products can enhance their operations. You will manage the entire sales process, from conducting product demonstrations and trials to negotiating contracts and closing deals. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals and customer needs. Additionally, you will be expected to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events.
